Store Assistant located in Montreal

Immediate Superior Positioning in the hierarchy

Attached to the retail department, under the responsibility of the Store Manager

Summary of the job

  • In collaboration with the manager, get the maximum sales and profits by realizing the sales figure.
  • Ensure that customer service standards are applied at all times and that the store's activities and advisors are managed in a consistent and efficient manner.
  • Take full responsibility for the shop in the absence of the manager.
  • Be a good brand ambassador by his commitment, personality and leadership.

Responsibilities and Objectives

  • Helps the manager in the proper functioning of the shop, gives an exceptional service to the customer, maximizes the satisfaction of the customers as well as the return in shop,
  • Ensures that the company's policies and guidelines are understood and followed,
  • Motivate the team by creating a positive working atmosphere,
  • Transmits the business philosophy and the different expectations that the employer has towards the employee,
  • Acting as a model for others at all times,
  • Participate in the visual presentation to ensure that the shop is attractive while respecting the pre-established rules of the company,
  • Plans and participates in the reception of merchandise as well as the installation of the products in store,
  • Daily management of operations,
  • Analysis and management of the inventory

Competences and Qualifications

  • Customer Service Skills
  • Professional attitude and behavior, teamwork skills, autonomy, dynamism, interpersonal skills, honesty, versatility, initiative, good listening, empathy, discernment, tact, etc.
  • Communication skills, problem solving
  • Interest in fashion and the luxury industry
  • Bilingualism: English and French
  • College diploma usually required
  • 2 years of retail experience in a similar level of responsibility

At all times, make sure to present a so-called "top-of-the-range" image as much in the know-being as the appearance with the customers and with the teams of sale in shop and in the workshop.

Work conditions

  • 40 hours per week, day and weekend
  • Commissions on turnover - Salary: to be discussed
