The role as Sales Manager is to maximise sales and profitability against defined targets and objectives set, while promoting the Marie Saint Pierre vision.  The role covers the continued development of the American and European markets while ensuring customer satisfaction of our brand. 

The main responsibilities of this role:

  • Manage internal and external stakeholders globally.
  • Develop a coordinated sales strategy and business plan to build a sustainable business in the target marketplace while delivering sales & profitability in line with agreed annual and long-term targets.
  • Deliver seasonal, forecast, collection sell in data, monitor and update seasonal sell through information.
  • Manage P&L, budgets and cost centers.
  • Analyse weekly sell through, manage open to buy, monitor markdowns, and provide replenishment suggestions based upon stock levels.
  • Organise and deliver inspirational product presentations, presenting the line and products in a compelling way along with suggestions regarding the corresponding marketing programs.
  • Conduct Product Knowledge seminars and liaison with marketing on staff incentive contests, stock room signage, and events.
  • Be in the know of the market/industry, particularly direct competitors with our assigned key accounts.
  • Communicate frequently to stakeholders on key activities, successes, issues and opportunities.

Wholesale :

  • Develop and support an effective sales force within the territories
  • Help grow current head office account base within territory
  • Prospect new major accounts, which are in-line with the brand ambition and strategy.
  • Promote and positively develop the various product lines (men’s wear, leather goods, accessories, furniture and perfume) and the Marie Saint Pierre image at all times.
  • Define and optimize processes for the customer relations department in order to constantly improve customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise the customer relations department.

Manage selling seasons by completing the following:

  • Pre–selling meetings
  • Arrange presentations and support documents for sales force
  • Calendar of events- time line
  • Manage the diary/appointment
  • Ensure showrooms are ready for seasonal selling

Retail :

  • Animate the network of Marie Saint Pierre stores and support store managers for product optimization for sales objectives
  • Participate to increase online sales and analyse product offering.
  • Organize and coordinate ad-hoc projects such as Collaborations, Pop-Ups, sale of Capsule Collections 


What you need to have


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of related experience
  • Wholesale experience required (existing relationships with key majors & independents preferred)
  • Strong managerial skills through leadership and team motivation
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experienced sales & negotiating skills
  • Ability to perform complex verbal and written communications face-to-face and in group settings
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to problem solve
  • Proficient computer skills : PPT/Excel/Word.
  • Strong analytical capabilites;
  • Available to travel outside the city and the country
