Marie's terrace

This spiced rum cocktail takes its name from an iron mine located in a small village near Santiago, Cuba. Warning! With this cocktail, you have to find the perfect balance, because it should be neither too acidic so as not to sting your tongue, nor too sweet so as not to saturate your taste buds. Here's how to make a good Balanced Daiquiri:

 
Ingredients :

11⁄2 oz (45 ml) of spiced rum (You can try the Chic Choc spiced rum created 100% locally in Quebec, or the Morbleu chocolate dark rum)


1⁄2 oz (15 ml) Truvia simple syrup


30 ml (1 oz) of peach nectar



3⁄4 oz (22.5 ml) fresh lime juice

 
Recipe :

1. Combine all the ingredients in a shaker
2. Fill 2/3 of the shaker with crushed ice
3. Shake vigorously
4. Pour in a frosted martini glass
5. Garnish with a pear slice, grated fresh nutmeg and a pinch of cinnamon.
