The development and design process rests upon three main components: Aesthetics, Technicality and Wellbeing. Through the use of ethical, distinctive and innovative textiles, Marie has the ability to play with volume and form to create true pieces of standing art. “It’s through a real love and passion for fabric that I started my design journey. Raw edged seams and bias cut garments are a staple of the modern appeal of the House’s vision. Everything is laser cut, in order to ensure the very best use of each material and guarantee clean lines throughout, as most pieces are without inner linings. These operations are put in place in order to allow maximal comfort and longevity to the garment. Shapes are created around the notion of movement, allowing the client to travel through life with ease and confidence. The development process is constantly challenged, offering new ways to assemble, new techniques of bonding, usage of hidden tapes and minimal over lock seams in order to put functionality and durability at the center of the creative process.
