SOUS ZÉRO FUND

Created in 2004, the Sous Zéro Fund provides all the necessary clothing to play outside in the long winter months to underprivileged Montreal and Quebec City children. Since its creation, the Fund, which brings together many volunteers and sponsors, has distributed new snowsuits, boots, hats and mittens to more than 25,000 children.

HOW ARE THE CLOTHES DISTRIBUTED?

Since the beginning of this project, the Hochelaga Community Center has been assisting Maison Marie Saint Pierre in the implementation of the program. At the start of each school year, schools carefully select the children in need of the clothes. They then submit their request to the Community Center that ensures the link between the Fund, the children and the donators.

Our main partners/donators are:

  • Fondation Marcelle et Jean Coutu
  • Montreal Real Estate Foundation for Kids
  • Paul Arcand
  • Deux par Deux
  • Les vêtements Perlimpinpin
  • Groupe Yellow Inc.

You can make a donation by phone (514-527-7136), on the website (www.cchochelaga.org) or by email (cch@cchochelaga.org). The totality of raised funds will go directly to the cause and an income tax receipt for the full amount of the donation will be issued.
