Collection FALL/WINTER 2011
Finding a sense of balance between fabric and form, exuding aestheticism while still promoting well-being are the principles behind Marie Saint Pierre's urban, modern and yet feminine Fall/Winter 2011 collection. The juxtaposition of design, execution and art elevates each piece from a mere element of fashion to an out-of-the ordinary artifact. The color palette is neutral, enhanced with bright color splashes that awaken the senses in a very personal manner. Organza, sequined boiled wool, viscose jersey, felted wool, stretch men’s gabardine and cashmere jersey make the selection of fabrics both noble and classic, reassuring and cozy. The designer's renewed and never-ending work on bonded fabrics proposes a collection that is structured and fluid, while removable or superimposed elements add efficiency and versatility.
